Bailey Moore | Debut Shoot

Bailey Moore decided to bring her mom by the studio on Sunday evening for a shoot. Being that she is almost a year old, she figured it was as good a time as ever for her debut photo shoot. I was happy to accommodate. I went to school with Bailey’s mom, Juliet (she was one…

Juliet Moore - Ben you’re amazing! You’ll never know how much these pictures mean to me… I wish I would have been able to have pictures of her taken before now, but sometimes you have to make the most out of what you have. Bailey has given me lots of love and laughs. She’s hilarious and alrady incredibly smart. I only have one question though.. When you were editing those photos why didn’t you get rid of my wrinkles?? I have some really bad crows feet. lol

The Irons Girls | Molly & McKenzie

Sssshhhh… this blog post is a secret until Christmas. If you know either of the subjects you must swear to secrecy until after December 25. If you are the type that can’t keep a secret, I cannot have you read any further in this post… sorry, it’s just how I roll!!! Alright… if you promise,…

Tammy Gentry - I was checking out the new photos when I ran across this session. I wish I could be “a fly on the wall” when Melodye sees these. Talk about an emotional momma! Ben, you done a fabulous job capturing their personalities. I love the ones of them laughing!

Dad (Gary Irons) - I never thought he would get them to relax but it didn’t take long. I agree with him they are two beautiful girls.

McDonald Family Christmas Card

A little over a week ago I posted the Christmas card design I did for Brandon, Ashley, & Madison McDonald. This is a different McDonald family; same last name, different people. This card is a bit special to me… it is for my sister’s family. I finished up this card today for Travis, Amy, Hunter,…

Juliet Moore - They’re so cute! I can tell they are related to you. There’s certainly a resemblance. We should have done something like that so I could have included Duke and Dixie on a card since it was too wet to bring them in to the studio… They sure would have skated across your floor if I had of (hehe).

The Waycasters | Good Friends & Many Laughs!

I go way back with the Waycasters!! It was in 7th grade when Matt & I became friends at the Athens Junior High School. We came from differing schools; he was from the nether-region of Etowah (as I call it) & I was from the Friendly city of Athens. He was tall, I was un-tall….

The Kesslers | A Chilly Morning on the Square

It shaped up to be a frigid morning but the Kessler crew was quite eager & ready for their photo shoot. And so was I! They made a chilly morning look good!!! I really can’t explain how much I enjoy getting outside with a family, letting them interact with one another & shooting away. Sometimes…

Keely Kessler | Infant Session » Ben Finch Photography - [...] So… as I was headed to photograph 8 week-old little miss Keely Kessler, I had a ton of thoughts going through my head, “Will I be able to get the look I am wanting?” “Will she be too alert & more difficult to soothe?” “Is she in the development stage where she won’t lay still yet can’t hold her head up?” I was fairly nervous… I wanted to provide the Kessler family (Michael, Mindy, Nathan & Keely) with the perfect images. They are a wonderful family that I had the privilege of photographing this past December when Mindy was pregnant with Keely (their post here). [...]
